Quartermaster

The deal, in plain English.

The terms under which Quartermaster is provided to you. Short. Specific.

EFFECTIVE · 13 JUNE 2026

By installing or using Quartermaster(App Store name “QuartermasterHQ”), you agree to these terms and to Apple’s standard end-user licence for App Store apps. If you don’t agree, don’t install the app.

The app

Quartermaster is a native iOS controller for software you run on hardware you control — Radarr, Sonarr, SABnzbd, Jellyseerr and Jellyfin. The app is a pure client. It does not provide media, it does not host content, and it does not include any service that lets you obtain media from us. What your servers do is your responsibility and is governed by the licences of the software you chose to run.

The App Store EULA

Distribution of the app is governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. That EULA covers the licence to use the app on your Apple devices, warranty terms, restrictions on reverse engineering, export compliance, and the like. Read it.

Pricing and Pro

  • Free lets you connect one service, fully functional. No card required.
  • Progrants the “pro” entitlement and unlocks every feature. Pro is sold two ways: a £14.99 one-time lifetime unlock (non-consumable) or a £3.99 / month subscription (auto-renewing). Both grant the same entitlement; the choice is yours.
  • Apple processes all purchases through your App Store account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via your App Store settings. The lifetime unlock does not renew or expire.
  • Restore is available on every device signed in to the same Apple ID. Tap Restore in Settings — Apple confirms the entitlement and Pro re-applies.
  • Prices may change for new buyers. Lifetime buyers keep what they bought, on the device they bought it on, regardless of future pricing.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use the app to violate the law in your jurisdiction. The app does not provide content; what you point it at is yours.
  • Don’t attempt to reverse the in-app purchase entitlement, or redistribute the app outside the App Store. Apple’s EULA already covers this; it bears repeating.
  • Don’t hammer the developer’s contact email. If you have a bug or a feature request, one good message beats five panicked ones.

No warranty beyond statutory rights

Quartermaster is provided as is, without warranty of any kind beyond your statutory consumer rights (which we don’t waive). It will not always work. Servers fail; APIs change; phones run out of battery. Use it for what it’s good at and keep backups of anything you can’t afford to lose. The encrypted backup feature is described in our privacy policy.

No accounts to terminate

Because we don’t have accounts, we can’t suspend you, ban you, or lock you out. If you stop liking the app, delete it. If you paid for Lifetime, the entitlement remains on your Apple ID; you can come back any time.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the effective date at the top will change and the release notes for the version that ships under new terms will call out the change. If you don’t agree, stop using the app — Apple’s refund policy applies as usual.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects mandatory rights you have under your local consumer protection law.
